ERASMUS for studies incoming students

Academic Year 2026/2027

 

• APPLICATION

The UniStraSi Erasmus Office will send application form and information by e-mail to Erasmus incoming students ONCE RECEIVED OFFICIAL NOMINATION from their Home University for a study period at the University for Foreigners of Siena.  

In order to be admitted as ERASMUS student to the University for Foreigners of Siena, nominated students have to fill in the application form with a copy of their IDjust by e-mail to erasmus@unistrasi.it

 

Our 2026/2027 APPLICATION DEADLINES are:

15st August 2026 for I semester and full academic year

15th January 2027 for II semester      

 

• VISA 

Non-EU students must apply for a student visa to study in Italy under the Erasmus programme. Please follow the instructions attached to access to

Universitaly's portal. To check whether you are eligible for a VISA check the website Visto Per L' Italia 

• ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

​Orientation sessions for incoming students will be organized the first day of each semester.

All our lectures will be in attendance (face-to-face).

II semester: 1 March 2027 – 11 June 2027

Exams periods

I semester: 12 January – 13 February 2027

Corsi di Laurea triennali (Bachelor Degree Courses)

Corsi di Laurea Magistrali (Master Degree Courses)

You can choose any course you prefer from the Course Catalogue of our 7 Degree Courses (Bachelors and Masters) and you do not need to enroll in the courses you plan to attend.

All our academic courses are taught in Italian (except for foreign languages courses) and we require a B1 level minimum in Italian in order to attend them. 

 

• LEARNING AGREEMENT

Please note that we accept OLA (Online Learning Agreement) on the EWP Dashboard. Should your Home University not be ready, you can send your Learning Agreement by email to erasmus@unistrasi.it

• ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES

As an incoming Erasmus student at Unistrasi you have the opportunity to attend for free up to 3 months of our Italian Language Courses: 80 hours per month – 4 ECTS credits.

Please be aware, in order to avoid course conflicts, that our Italian Language Courses take place every day, mostly in the morning.
