During 15 years, the University for Foreigners of Siena was one of the organiser of EILC (Erasmus Intensive Language Courses) in Italy. Starting from 2014/2015 academic year, the new ERASMUS+ Programme has cancelled the EILC courses, which have been replaced by OLS (Online Linguistic Support). 

In order to keep on our longstanding experience and give to perspective Erasmus students in Italy the opportunity to improve their Italian language skills, we ooffer our Italian language courses ONLY for 2026/2027 Erasmus+ students in Italy (either for study or traineeship), for 2 or 4 weeks, during summer 2026 and winter 2027. 

* IMPORTANT: These courses are NOT for students who will spend their Erasmus for study period at Università per Stranieri di Siena (I SIENA02), because they have the chance to attend up to 3 months of Italian language courses for free.

The on-line courses will take place 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) in the afternoon, approximately from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM 

Courses will be organised at all CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) levels, from A1 to C2. The first day of classes students will take a placement test. Upon test results, students will be enrolled in the appropriate level for their knowledge of Italian language.
