Bodily care in early Buddhist monasteries: from India to China - Incontro con la Prof.ssa Ann Heirman

La Sala Confucio dell’Università per Stranieri di Siena promuove un’iniziativa molto interessante che avrà come tema centrale un articolo intitolato “Bodily care in early Buddhist monasteries” scritto da Ann Heirman, docente di cinese e classico buddista presso l’università di Ghent. <è anche presidente del Centro di Ghent per gli studi buddisti, un centro di ricerca internazionale che si concentra sull’India e la Cina. L’intero incontro sarà curato dalla Prof.ssa Anna Di Toro e avverrà giorno 11 ottobre, alle ore 10:00 in aula 8.Vi invitiamo a partecipare numerosi/e e accogliere questa interessante iniziativa per poter arricchire ulteriormente il nostro bagaglio culturale. The Confucius Room of the University for Foreigners of Siena is promoting a very interesting initiative which will have as its central theme an article entitled "Bodily care in early Buddhist monasteries" written by Ann Heirman, professor of Chinese and Buddhist classics at the University of Ghent. Ann Heirman is also president of the Ghent Center for Buddhist Studies, an international research center that focuses on India and China. The entire meeting will be curated by Prof. Anna Di Toro and will take place on 11 October, at 10:00 in room 8.
