    Third Postclassical Greek Conference 

    Postclassical Greek offers a unique window onto the evolution of the Greek language, bringing together literary and documentary sources from a wide range of periods and regions. 
    Its rich textual and linguistic diversity provides an exceptional setting for exploring variation, language contact, multilingualism, and processes of change.

    The conference brings together scholars working on Greek from the Hellenistic period to the Middle Ages, fostering dialogue across philological, historical, and linguistic approaches. Particular attention will be given to new perspectives, methods, and tools for investigating the history and development of Greek.

    The conference to be held in Siena, hosted and funded by the University for Foreigners of Siena, is the third event in the Postclassical Greek Conference series, under the auspices of the Postclassical Greek Network.
