Assistant Teaching Professor in Italian, Arizona (USA)

The School of International Letters and Cultures (SILC) at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applications for the position of Assistant Teaching Professor in Italian with a specialization in face-to-face and/or online language program coordination and administration and/or specific expertise in L2 and Second Language Acquisition.
This is an in-person, full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure eligible appointment, the appointment begins August 16, 2026.

Qualifications
-Ph.D. in Italian Studies/Second Language Acquisition/Applied Linguistics/Foreign Language Education by the time of appointment.
-Proficiency in both Italian and English.
-At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in developing and coordinating face-to-face and/or online courses and/or programs.

The application deadline is December 29, 2025. Applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis for a reserve pool. Applications in the reserve pool may then be reviewed in the order in which they were received until the position is filled.
