AIILA. Autonomous learning of Italian as a second language by immigrants with ChatGPT: an ethical and ecological approach
The project proposes the experimentation of the use of AI for learning Italian L2 to immigrants (refugees, asylum seekers, women victims of trafficking, foreign convicts) residing in the territory, for their emancipation, recovery, professional (re)insertion.
The experimental didactic pathway proposed in the project intends to assess whether and to what extent the use of AI, in particular ChatGPT, can constitute a source of new opportunities in the didactics of subjects who are disadvantaged (linguistically, scholastically, legally, professionally and by gender), an aspect of research in Educational Linguistics on which there is still little data available.
